XAI representatives have maintained radio silence on the issue. No comments, no explanations, no timeline for fixing the problem. Their chatbot holds just 0.6% market share compared to ChatGPT's dominating 60.4%, but this leak could further damage Grok's already modest position.
This isn't the primary rodeo for AI chat leaks. ChatGPT and Claude have faced similar indexing issues. But Grok's failure to warn users about the public nature of "shared" conversations shows a stunning disregard for basic privacy practices.
