While tech enthusiasts are still getting acquainted with the Pixel 9, Google has already dropped a bombshell teaser for its next flagship series. The Pixel 10 lineup is set to launch on August 20, 2025, and it's already causing quite a stir. Yeah, that's right—Google's playing the long game here.
The design isn't exactly revolutionary. It looks a lot like the Pixel 9, with flat sides and slightly rounded corners. Boring? Maybe. Consistent? Definitely.
What's got everyone talking is the camera setup. The teaser hints at a triple camera arrangement for all models—even the base version. That's a premier.
Google's Tensor G5 chip will power the entire lineup. The base Pixel 10 will sport a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Not too shabby. It'll pack a 4,970mAh battery. Decent enough for most people.
The Pro model steps things up with the same 6.3-inch size but adds LTPO technology for variable refresh rates. Its display reaches a blinding 2,250 nits.
Battery size takes a slight hit at 4,870mAh, but who's counting? You'll get 29W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Plus, a whopping 16GB of RAM and storage options up to 1TB. Overkill? Probably.
For those who like 'em big, the Pro XL offers a 6.8-inch LTPO display and a beefier 5,200mAh battery. It also charges faster at 39W. Nice.
Camera details remain sketchy, but rumors suggest the telephoto lens will double as a macro lens. The new telemacro functionality will enable impressive close-up photography without switching lenses. The ultra-wide is coming back, supposedly better than before.
And the selfie camera? A modest 10.5MP.
The launch event will also showcase new watches and buds. The Made by Google event will include the Pixel Watch 4 and new Pixel Buds 2a alongside the smartphones. Google's offering promotional discounts for email sign-ups. Smart marketing move.
Will the Pixel 10 series be a game-changer? With triple cameras across the board and substantial specs, it's looking promising. But in this market? We'll see.
